English Translation of the Lyrics
I wandered the world, seeking strange flowers,
With every next step, I counted the years.
With your feet, I found abandoned temples,
A heart cast in stone grew lighter instead…
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be—everything reminds me of you,
As if you are walking behind or looking at me through the world.
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be — everything is held by your power,
You lead me along, drawing a trail behind.
Sometimes I am flying up. I want to hide from the flock,
Everything freezes in an instant when your eyes cast petals.
I understand it all, but the unattainable dream is —
To be, to live, even after I reach for your hand.
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be—everything reminds me of you,
As if you are walking behind or looking at me through the world.
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be — everything is held by your power,
You lead me along, drawing a trail behind.
You are always there beside me, to my right or to my left.
In the conversations of strangers, I hear your thoughts…
Yet we must madly pamper ourselves with feelings,
We move in a single circle, like rushing streams.
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be—everything reminds me of you,
As if you are walking behind or looking at me through the world.
Wherever I am, wherever I am, wherever I may be — everything is held by your power,
You lead me along, drawing a trail behind.
